Finally, a painted roof will be available on the 2023 Ford Bronco.
The 2023 Ford Bronco adds a new pleasant feature – a painted modular hardtop, as leaked on the BroncoNation forum. The roof comes at least in two colors – black and white.
Black comes as standard for the First Edition and Wildtrak versions, it is also available on the Badlands, Big Bend, Black Diamond, and Outer Banks Broncos.
Oxford White is an option for the Heritage Edition models. Besides, other versions, still unknown, may receive the white roof.
In addition, Ford offers a dual top option from the factory for the 2023 Bronco – expectedly in black and in white paints on the aforementioned trims.
Also, the Blue Oval has updated the Bronco’s exterior color palette by adding Yellowstone, Robin’s Egg Blue, and Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat, but removing Desert Sand and Cyber Orange colors.
There is one more juicy change: a sound-deadening headliner is excluded for Carbonized Gray hardtops.
Roofs, colors – these are seemingly trifles, but when it comes to the beloved Ford Bronco, every detail is important.
What About Orders?
Once Ford announced it wouldn’t allow retail orders for new customers until next year.
The 2023 Bronco Heritage Edition is exclusive to reservation holders until the new calendar year. Moreover, the company has prioritized the Bronco Everglades and Raptor, both 2022 models, to reservation holders.
From September 12, 2022, order books will open for existing reservations and current order holders whose orders are still unscheduled to build. They will be able to convert to the 2023 model year.
Ford already sent a memo to its dealers suggesting that the manufacturer will deliver further guidance on the 2023 Bronco retail orders in the fourth quarter of this year.
Meantime, the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport is available to order now. Deliveries begin this fall.
