The 70th Anniversary Edition package will be available on the 2023 Chevy Corvette Stingray 3LT and Z06 3LZ coupe and convertible models. Production will begin later this year.
UPDATE of 01-31-2022: This weekend, the very first production model, VIN 001 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition, went for $3.6 million at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Next year marks the 70th anniversary of the iconic Corvette model, a long-liver on the car market. Chevrolet will celebrate this milestone with a special package – 70th Anniversary Edition offered for the 2023 Chevy Corvette Stingray 3LT and Z06 3LZ.
Moreover, the very first production vehicle of the Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition will be auctioned off by Barrett-Jackson on January 29, 2022, to benefit Operation Homefront.
The 70th Anniversary Edition comes in two unique exterior colors: White Pearl Metallic Tri-coat or Carbon Flash Metallic, plus optional stripes are available – Satin Gray with the first color option, and Satin Black with the second.
The package features unique dark-finished wheels with commemorative center caps and Edge Red stripe, Edge Red brake calipers, 70th Anniversary Edition badging and logos, a rear bumper protector, and a trunk cover.
In the cabin, there is red stitching, red seatbelts, Ceramic leather GT2 or Competition Sport seats, suede microfiber inserts. One of the goodies is custom luggage set with a 70th Anniversary Edition logo and red stitching.
Every Chevrolet Corvette of the 2023 model year with have more options, for example, 14 exterior colors and 8 interior ones to choose from. Besides, all 2023 vehicles will have a commemorative plaque (70th anniversary) on the center speaker grille and a graphic imprint on the lower rear window.
