The other day, Chevrolet announced a reveal date for the all-new Corvette Z06 – October 26, 2021.
Ahead of its official premiere, the sports car “visits legendary European racetracks”, Chevy said and posted a video of a Z06 taking a road trip through Germany and France.
The information about the upcoming model is still scarce: no technical details, pricing (expect around $87,000). Until recently, there were doubts about whether Chevrolet will launch this version at all.
A month ago, the company released a teaser video, and we could hear how the car’s potent eight-cylinder engine was roaring. It is expected to produce up to 650 horsepower.
The carmaker also mentioned an FE2 suspension, wireless phone charging, driving mode selection visualization.
We believe the new Corvette Z06 will receive a number of adjustable active aerodynamics features for downforce optimization.
This fall, the manufacturer will announce when the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette is available to customers.
