The automaker has shared the first official photo of the all-new 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 high-performance version. The official premiere will take place in a month.
An image of a non-camouflaged 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is now available. The photo shows a front part of the car, while its rear end with new center-exit quad-tip exhausts is unseen. Probably, Chevrolet will show it next time.
There is a month left before the model officially debuts on October 26, and maybe soon there will be more images from the manufacturer to spur consumer interest. Chevy’s latest photo shows a Corvette C8.R-inspired front fascia with bigger air intakes, a black “boomerang” side air intake element, pronounced wheel arches, new twin six-spoke alloy wheels.
Under the hood of the Corvette Z06, there is a 5.5-liter flat-plane-crank eight-cylinder engine making more than 600 horsepower and between 8500-9000 rpm. This potent unit is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Chevrolet tested its new high-performance modification several times, but spies usually spotted those cars in camouflage leaving room for imagination.
This time, we can see a vehicle with no disguise – the official picture from the brand. This is a standard Z06, without the Z07 Performance Package which will be available for the model. The package includes a stiffer suspension, a more aggressive front splitter, a larger wing, carbon-fiber wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires, and carbon-ceramic brakes.
