The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray of the 2023 model year has gone into series production today.
After delays, the new 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has finally begun rolling off the assembly line at the plant of General Motors in Bowling Green, Carbuzz reports.
The car has been available to order since April 7. The base Corvette Stingray got a $1,000 price increase for the new model year and costs $63,195 including a $1,295 destination charge.
Manufacture of a high-performance 670-hp Z06 model will commence later: timelines are still to be decided. This version is very popular in absentia. While Chevrolet is only planning to put the 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 into production, some dealers have already placed excessive premiums, reaching even $100K, upon a not-yet-announced manufacturer’s suggested retail price.
The Corvette Z06 pricing could be under $90,000 before markups. It will be sold in a coupe and convertible body style. The sports car offers an array of performance-tuned accessories, including racing-type front seats and unique spoilers.
