Pricing for the 2022 Subaru Crosstrek and Crosstrek Hybrid has been announced. Both models will begin arriving at dealerships in the first quarter of next year.
The automaker reveals the pricing for the 2022 Subaru Crosstrek and its plug-in hybrid version. Compared with the previous model year, the rise in price is minor – $200-300.
The SUV features black-finish alloy wheels, black side cladding, a gloss black rear roof spoiler, standard roof rails, a highly capable chassis, 8.7-inch ground clearance and of сourse, Subaru’s famous standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. There are four trim levels for the non-hybrid Crosstrek and a single well-equipped one for the Crosstrek Hybrid, plus option packages.
A 2.0-liter 152-hp four-cylinder pairs a 6-speed manual transmission. A 2.5-liter 182-hp unit comes with a Lineartronic continuously variable transmission (CVT). Both are SUBARU BOXER engines. CVT models come with standard EyeSight Driver Assist Technology.
EPA-estimated fuel efficiency reaches 35 MPG / 90 MPGe for the Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid, which uses StarDrive Technology integrating two electric motors, a 2.0-liter engine, AWD and CVT. This version covers up to 17 miles in electric-only drive, and 480 miles in total.
The 2022 Subaru Crosstrek costs between $23,570-31,815, the Crosstrek Hybrid’s price starts at $36,770 – including destination and delivery. The latter is eligible to a $4,502 federal tax credit and rebates up to $1,500 in certain states.
The customer deliveries will begin in early 2022.
