The second-generation Subaru BRZ debuted last November. Its U.S. pricing has been just announced.
When developing the new Subaru BRZ, the Japanese automaker strictly adhered to the basic requirements for a mainstream sports car. Namely, the 2022 model turned out to be quite lightweight, with an ultra-low center of gravity and increased stability.
Precise steering and the torsional stiffness increased by half are a good supplement to the modern interior and a new, more powerful engine.
The naturally aspirated Subaru Boxer engine with a 2.4-liter displacement and 228 hp powers the 2022 BRZ. The unit pairs with either a 6-speed close-ratio manual transmission or a 6-speed electronic direct-control automatic one.
