The 2022 Nissan Altima is available to purchase now. The starting net price is $24,550. A new Midnight Edition Package is added.

The Nissan Altima mid-size car has been refreshed for the 2022 model year. It has gone on sale in five grades: S, SV, SR, SL, and Platinum. The base S version is front-wheel-drive only, the Platinum comes only with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. The rest grades are either FWD or AWD.

The standard engine, offered for all trim levels, is a 2.5-liter DOHC inline four-cylinder direct-injection one delivering 188 horsepower.

The Altima SR also comes with a 2.0-liter, 236-hp, inline four-cylinder VC-Turbo engine and paddle shifters. Both engines are mated to a standard Xtronic transmission.
