The refreshed 2022 Mazda CX-5 goes on sale. The starting net price is $25,900. The model will arrive at U.S. retailers this winter.
The 2022 Mazda CX-5 got significant updates for the new model year. Mazda North American Operations has just announced specs and prices. Eight trim levels are available, they all come with a standard i-Activ all-wheel-drive system.
The new prices per trim level including destination and handling of $1,225, excluding tax, license, other fees, charges, and options are as follows:

The 2022 model also offers three premium color options: Soul Red Crystal Metallic and Machine Gray Metallic at $595, and Snowflake White Pearl Mica at $395.
Mazda enhanced the CX-5 on the basis of its latest KODO design philosophy. Front and rear ends are refined, and character lines are minimized.
The car received new bumpers and 17-inch wheels, a new signature wing at front, an updated grille with 3D texture, revised lights including automatic on/off LED headlamps with High Beam Control, new tailgate design. Other features include automatic rain-sensing windshield wipers, a rear roof spoiler, a roof-mounted shark-fin antenna.
The seats, body, and suspension underwent updates as well. A 6-speed automatic transmission becomes more responsive.
The CX-5’s base engine is a 2.5 Skyactiv-G 4-cylinder naturally aspirated one producing 187 hp and 186 lb-ft of torque. Another available engine – the Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo – got performance upgrades and now delivers 256 hp on premium 93 octane fuel.
The 2022 Mazda CX-5 comes with many i-Activsense safety features as standard, for example, with such as Radar Cruise Control with Stop and Go or Advanced Smart City Brake Support.
Every CX-5 is completed with Mazda Connected Services for 3 years to monitor functions via the MyMazda app. As all latest Mazdas, the cabin of the new CX-5 offers many features as standard, including remote keyless entry, push-button start, a four-speaker sound system, electronic parking brake, climate control, a rearview camera, power windows with one-touch automatic up/down, a 10.25-inch full-color center display.
This winter, the 2022 Mazda CX-5 will be reaching U.S. dealerships.
