2022 Lexus RX 350 and 450h Bring New Color Palette

A gasoline 2022 Lexus RX 350 and a hybrid 308-hp, 30-mpg Lexus RX 450h have been refreshed for the 2022 model year. The automaker revises the color pallet and, moreover, returns a popular Black Line version.

Lexus adds the Cloudburst Gray and Iridium exterior colors for all trim levels of the updated Lexus RX. Grecian Water is now available for the F Sport models. The Noble Brown interior color replaces Glazed Caramel on the Luxury. The Premium trim adds Glazed Carmel.

Standard standalone fog lamps providing added lighting are new for 2022.

Black Line

The Black Line special edition is back for the new model year. It has received most features of the RX Premium Package, but with unique Black Line touches.

The exterior in two colors – Eminent White Pearl or Caviar combines with the interior in black. The Black Line package includes 20-ich black wheels and lug nuts, a black signature Lexus spindle, black outer mirrors, a black lower front bumper, a black nameplate at the rear.

The Black Line specific features in the cabin include black open-pore wood trim, Black NuLuxe seats, unique gray stitching, black floor mats, cargo mat, key gloves, Lexus Memory System for power driver’s seat, outside rearview mirror, and steering wheel.

In North America, the 2022 Lexus RX 350 and 450h Black Line are available in a limited quantity of 2,100 gasoline cars and 400 hybrids. The RX 350 Black Line starts at $49,450. The RX 450h AWD Black Line costs $52,150.

The Lexus RX is the best-selling model of the brand in the USA, far ahead of other Lexus models. In the 2nd quarter of 2021, 28,703 RXs were sold in the country. We believe a fresh take on the Lexus RX for 2022 will add more consumer interest to the model.
