Kia is teasing the next-generation Sportage by releasing three darkened images on social media. The company has also announced the debut date – June 8, 2021.
The teasers offer a glimpse at the front end with new headlights, revamped turn signals, and an angular theme at the rear. Side mirrors will replace the A-pillar.
A dashboard inside is a large digital touchscreen with a few buttons beneath. The pane stretches from the driver’s side to the center and probably houses two separate screens behind. The layout looks similar to that of the new Kia EV6, except for a steering wheel and climate vents.
Expect the new Sportage to have electrified powertrain options and an extended list of safety and driver assistance features.
More teasers and more details unveil will most likely follow. Sales should start by the end of 2021.
