Kia America has announced U.S. pricing for the 2022 Kia Rio sedan and the Rio 5-door hatchback.
The Kia Rio has entered the next model year and goes on sale in the USA. The model represents Kia’s new corporate identity. The 2022 model becomes more stylish and space-efficient brings essential technologies. In particular, an immobilizer is now coming as standard for all trim levels.
The 2022 Kia Rio, both in sedan hatchback body styles, is powered by a 1.6-liter MPI engine that delivers 120 hp and 112 lb.-ft. torque. The fuel efficiency is 33/41/36 (city/highway/combined).
The new net prices per trim level are the following:
Sedan
- LX – $16,150
- S – $16,790
5-Door Hatchback
- S – $17,090
Pricing excludes a $995 destination fee, other charges, taxes, options.
In October 2021, the Kia Telluride, K5, Forte had the best sales in the USA. The most anticipated Kia model is the EV6.
