The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is currently available to order in North America. The model adds new exterior colors, packages and premium features.
Ordering is open now for the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L 3-row SUV, as well as the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2-row SUV through the brand dealerships in Canada and the USA.
The new model year expands high-tech features for the Jeep Grand Cherokee family. They include Amazon Fire TV built into dual 10.1-inch high-definition entertainment displays for rear passengers. So, the vehicle’s total available digital screen space exceeds 50 inches now.
There is also a 10.25-inch front passenger screen that offers camera viewing and visual entertainment, co-pilot assistance with navigation. A person sitting on the front seat can monitor, stop, pause and start the content of the rear display.
Moreover, all screens have an HDMI plug for the projection of wireless device content onto the screen and through Uconnect 5.
With Amazon Fire TV, users can listen to music, stream videos, play games, access info, watch downloaded content on the go.
New for 2022 are three exterior paints: Ember, Hydro Blue, and Midnight Sky.
New packages – Summit High Altitude and Limited Black – feature certain exterior details, such as 20- or 21-inch Gloss Black aluminum wheels, gloss back badging and accents, a 7-slot grille, roof rails.
In the USA, the estimated net selling prices for the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee start at $39,580 (2-row), $41,080 (3-row). The new Grand Cherokee 4xe plug-in hybrid is also coming this winter.
In Canada, the base price is 50,445 CAD (excluding total discounts, taxes, freight, other fees). The Grand Cherokee L starts at 52,495 CAD, but it is for the 2021 model. The pricing for the 2022 Grand Cherokee L is not available now, as far as we can see on Jeep Canada’s website.
