Heated rear seats are available for the model for the first time. A new Latitude LUX trim provides a long list of premium amenities. Also, the 2022 Compass brings more than 75 advanced safety and security features.
The standard safety suite now includes the full-speed collision warning with active brake and pedestrian/cyclist detection, Active Lane Management, Blind-Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path detection.
A new Highway Assist semi-autonomous driving system will be available later. It delivers hands-on-wheel and eyes-on-road automated driving. The 2022 Compass also features a newly tuned suspension and upgraded steering.
