This year, the Blue Oval launches three one-time-only colors for the 2022 Ford Ranger Splash. They are limited-run offerings available one per season.
As we earlier informed, the Ford Ranger Splash version, which is actually an appearance package, will be on offer for the 2022 model. Moreover, Ford returns the bold colors of the ’90s: Limited Edition Colors added to the Splash Package.
This is about a series of colors, namely Snow Edition (upper picture), Forest Edition, and Sand Edition, limitedly available at $1,495, each in its time.
More precisely, the Snow Edition comes with the Lariat trim level in a limited run of 750 vehicles this spring. Expect the Forest Edition available with the XTL grade to arrive in summer in the quantity of 500 units. And, finally, the Sand Edition comes with the XLT Ranger Splash in 500 units in the fall.
All the editions are unique, one-time-only. The Snow Edition features the Avalanche exterior paint, Avalanche grille nostrils, Magnetic accents, black interior accents, exclusive Ash Gray-accented ebony leather-trimmed seats with carbon weave tuxedo stripes, and bolsters.
The Forest Edition’s exterior is in Forged Green with Magnetic accents and red grille nostrils. Inside there are unique ebony cloth seats accented the same way as in the Snow Edition.
The Sand Edition comes in the Desert Sand exterior color, and, like the other two, offers Magnetic accents, red grille nostrils, black-accented interior, and special ebony cloth seats with Ash Gray accent stitching and carbon weave tuxedo stripes/bolsters.

In the domestic market, the 2022 Ford Ranger is priced between $26,580 and $38,370, when it is in SuperCab configuration, and $32,835 ad $40,545 for the Crew Cab, including a destination charge, before taxes, incentives, other fees. There are 3 trim levels to choose from: XL, XLT, and Lariat.
A full redesign of the pickup is expected for 2023 model year, so this 2022 Ranger is probably the last iteration of the current generation.
When saying about the 2022 Ford Ranger strengths, experts mention the quick acceleration from its powerful turbocharged engine, a lot of modern safety features. As for the weak points, they include a limited storage in the cabin, the infotainment system is not use-friendly enough, non-confident ride over corrugated pavement.
