The new Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator, both 2022 models, have gone into production at the Ford Kentucky Truck Plant.
Ford Motor planned to launch the 2022 Lincoln Navigator and the 2022 Ford Expedition in the first quarter of this year, and, according to unconfirmed information of Ford Authority, the time has come. The both have been put into production at Ford’s facility in Kentucky. In other words, customer deliveries should begin soon after.
The company debuted the SUVs in August and September 2021. They sit on Ford’s T3 Platform and feature similar updates: a new signature grille, headlights and taillights, a new head-up display, a big 13.2/15.5-inch infotainment screen with SYNC 4, a 12/12.4-inch digital gauge cluster, a 5.8-inch digital module for the 2nd-row passengers, fresh interior themes, wheel choices.
In addition, the Expedition received a Timberline version and a Stealth Performance Package for the 2022MY. The base price of the 2022 Lincoln Navigator starts at $76,710 excluding fees (destination and others), taxes, charges, options. The 2022 Ford Expedition price will follow, but we know it will be higher than the 2021 model’s $50,595.
