Online orders for the 2022 Ford Bronco should open in 10 days – on October 13, 2021. Expect the sixth-generation Bronco to add two new trims – Raptor and Everglades in the second year of its production.
The Blue Oval ended making the 2021 Ford Bronco and has begun to assemble the 2022 model. Customers will be able to place online orders for the 2022 Bronco as soon as October 13th, according to the Bronco6G forum. And it is good news, as earlier the manufacturer suspended online ordering of the 2021 Bronco and left the only choice to order directly at local dealers.
Currently, the 2021 Ford Broncos have been reaching their owners, though with delays. Those order holders who are still waiting for their Broncos may receive a vehicle of the new, 2022 model year. Their orders could be even pushed back to 2023.
Compared to the 2021 model, the 2022 Ford Bronco has more potential: it brings new Eruption Green and Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat exterior colors, a new front bumper Capable, a manual transmission in the Sasquatch package and a roof rack for the four-door Broncos. More importantly, the high-performance Bronco Raptor and the Bronco Everglades appearance package with certain off-road features will probably join for 2022.
The revived Ford Bronco is now in the second year of production. In the fourth quarter of 2024, expect a mid-cycle refresh of the current sixth-generation as a 2025 model year. In 2028, Ford will assumedly end production for the 6th-gen Bronco, and a new, 7th-generation vehicle comes as the 2029 or 2030 model.
