Chevrolet Equinox pricing for the 2022 model year has been released.
The 2022 model got visual updates, additional available safety features and an RS trim. It comes with a 1.5-liter 170-hp inline turbo-four engine and front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is available at extra pay of $1600.
U.S. sales will start from July 2021. The automaker recently unveiled new prices per trim levels. The car is missing its low-cost L version. So, the most affordable Equinox now costs $2000 more than the previous model.
The good news is that other trims become cheaper than last year. The Equinox LS is priced at $26,995 (minus $600), LT starts at $28,095 – $700 less, and the top-level Premier is $500 less expensive than before, namely $32,195. The sporty-looking Equinox RS starts at $31,295. Priced include a destination fee.
According to U.S. sales results in Q1 2021, the Chevrolet Equinox is the second model of the brand after the Silverado, with 63,218 vehicles sold,
A long list of features, good fuel economy, a nice predicted reliability rating keep the latest Equinox competitive among compact SUVs. However, its base engine is mediocre, and interior quality is relatively subpar.
