For the 2022 model year, the Chevrolet Colorado receives a Trail Boss off-road package.
This is the dealer-installed option customers can get at an extra $2,895 on the Z71 models and $2,995 on the LT trim level vehicles.
The Trail Boss package offers a suspension lift of 1.0 inches, the addition of skid plates, black badges, red tow hooks, the removal of the front air dam.
One more change is the 17-inch black wheels which carried over from the full-fledged ZR2 version (in the photo). By the way, the ZR2 off-road variant will be available for the ‘elder brother’ – the 2022 Chevy Silverado.
The 2022 Chevrolet Colorado comes with three engine choices. They are a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder, a 3.6-liter six-cylinder, and a turbocharged 2.8-liter inline-four diesel engine.
In the second quarter of 2021, Chevrolet sold 14,775 units of the Colorado. By comparison, sales of the Silverado accounted for 164,730 vehicles in the same period.
