The refreshed BMW iX3 crossover has become available to order. The starting price in Germany is 67,300 euros.

BMW updated the iX3 electric crossover almost a year after its world premiere. It’s hard to say why the automaker has restyled so quickly. However, the fact remains: customers can already order the 2022 BMW iX. In Germany, the price starts at 67,300 euros, in the UK – at 59,730 pounds.

The main innovation is the M Sport Package, adaptive LED headlights, 19-inch M wheels which are standard now. Larger 20-inch wheels and BMW Laserlight lighting are available as options.

The total power of the 2022 BMW iX3 is 286 hp, peak torque is 295 lb-ft (400 Nm). Acceleration from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) of the rear-wheel-drive crossovers takes 6.8 seconds. The iX3 covers 286 miles (460 km) on a single charge.

It is also worth noting a more aggressive design of the front part. The new style is closer to the larger BMW iX and BMW i4 – they are expected in the US market by the way, and will be the first representatives of a completely new generation of BMW electric cars.

The modern Bavarian brand’s i-lineup includes five models. The cheapest and eldest is the compact BMW i3. In Germany, it costs 39,000 euros. Despite its fairly high popularity, the i3 will not have the next generation.

The rest of BMW EVs are the aforementioned new generation vehicles. It’s about the BMW i4 and BMW i4 M50 (from 58,300 and 69,900 euros, respectively), the BMW iX3 (from 67,300 euros), and the BMW iX mid-size crossover (77,300 euros).
