Audi has revealed U.S. prices and specifications for the 2022 A3 and S3 sedan models. Dealers will have cars in their showrooms starting from the third quarter of 2021.
The base Audi A3 and S3 come with a 2.0-liter turbo-four making 201 hp on the A3 and 306 hp on the S3. A front-wheel-drive and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission are standard for the A3, while Quattro all-wheel drive is a $2000 option.
The A3s feature a 48-volt mild-hybrid system and a start-stop function for the engine. AWD is standard for the higher-end S3 version. A high-performance Audi RS3 with a 5-cylinder engine and over 400 horsepower is arriving later on.
