The three-row premium SUV arrives at dealerships late next week.
To be precise, the next-generation Acura MDX will hit the dealerships of Honda’s luxury brand in Canada on February 12, 2021. The new vehicle will be available throughout the country, and costs from 56,000 Canadian dollars.
There are four trim levels available to buyers: a base MDX (from 56,405 CAD), TECH (from 60,405 CAD), A-SPEC (from 63,405 CAD) and a top-end Platinum Elite (from 67,405 CAD).
Under the hood of the 2022 Acura MDX there is a 3.5-liter 290-hp i-VTEC engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The MDX is a seven-seater with any equipment package. Its main rivals are German Audi Q7 and BMW X5, Japanese Infiniti QX60 and Lexus RXL, as well as American Lincoln MKT. It can also compete with the Land Rover Discovery.
The Acura MDX has been in production for 20 years. By the way, it was Canada where the manufacture of the crossover began. The model is based on the Honda Pilot.
The vehicles expected on February 12 are the fourth generation of this very successful model.
