The Porsche 911 Turbo S is announced to receive the Lightweight and Sport Packages.
New packages will make the model even more hard-core. No pricing, no order availability time are known for the moment, expect Porsche will inform soon.
The Lightweight Package reduces weight by 66 pounds. It includes lightweight full bucket seats, reduced sound deadening, rear seats removal. There is the stand-along optional equipment as well, like a lightweight noise-insulated glass ($1250), a PASM sports suspension ($1510), a sports exhaust system with black tailpipes ($3490).
The Sport Package includes taillights of special design, high-gloss accents, dark silver Turbo S wheels, optional carbon-fiber roof for a coupe at $3890.
Porsche unveiled the 992-generation 911 Turbo S in a livestream form on March 3, 2020. The car can speed up in 2.6 seconds to 60 mph (97 km/h) getting power of a twin-turbo flat-six 3.8-liter 640-hp engine.
The most powerful and expensive Porsсhe 911 goes on sale in late 2020.
U.S. prices for the Turbo S start at $204,850 for the Coupé and $217,650 for the Cabrio, including destination. In Germany, the Coupé costs €216,396, the Cabriolet is priced at €229,962 (with VAT and country-specific equipment).
