The 2021 Nissan Armada and the 2021 Nissan Kicks are parts the Nissan NEXT plan to launch 10 new vehicles in the USA in 20 months.
The new Armada goes on sale next month, while the Kicks will reach showrooms in February.
The full-size SUV features new exterior and interior designs for the 2021 model year, as well as a long list of safety tech.
Exterior tweaks include a new grille, hood, front fenders, bumpers, LED lights.
Inside, Nissan has redesigned and simplified the center stack. The vehicle’s cabin becomes more spacious, comfortable and stylish.
The Armada offers a class-largest 12.3-inch color touchscreen display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Wi Fi, decent 8,500 pounds of max towing capacity.
It is the first vehicle in the lineup to carry the new Nissan logo.
Every new Nissan Armada comes with a 5.6-liter 400-hp Endurance V8 engine, a seven-speed automatic transmission, an independent double-wishbone suspension – front and rear.
Nissan’s advanced Auto 4WD system with Auto/4HI/4LO modes is standard on all-wheel-drive Armadas. Integrated Trailer Brake Controller with a tow hitch receiver and Trailer Sway Control are added for 2021.
The Midnight Edition Package is new for 2021. Three trim levels – SV, SL and Platinum in 2WD or 4WD drive configurations are available. The S grade will come at a later date.
The 2021 Nissan Kicks compact crossover has got enhanced exterior and interior styling. The model is one of the most customizable vehicles in the segment.
The exterior features a new “Double V-motion” front grille, bumper, LED head- and taillights, LED fog lights, a new rear bumper, new wheel designs.
3 new exterior colors (7 in total) and 3 new two-tone paint schemes (5 in total) are also available.
Inside, the Kicks offers new seat materials and premium finishers, a new center console with armrest, a customizable 8-inch touchscreen display, an additional Type-C USB port.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard. NissanConnect Services including over-the-air updates, keyless entry, Automatic Collision Notification are available.
A 1.6-liter 122-hp DOHC 16-valve four-cylinder engine powers the 2021 Nissan Kicks, paired with an Xtronic transmission and AWD.
The fuel economy is 31/36/33 mpg (city/highway/combined). There is a new rear disc brake system, Intelligent Cruise Control and an electronic parking brake with auto hold.
The trims available for 2021 are S, SV, SR.
