Lexus refreshes the LC model for 2021.
The coupe gets new color and wheel choices, loses weight by 22 pounds (10 kg) through suspension revision. Powertrains remain the same.
The 21-inch rear wheels become slightly lighter. New 20-inch wheels with a Dark Graphic finish are now on offer, plus two new exterior colors – Cadmium Orange and Nori Green Pearl.
In the cabin, Flare Red leather replaces Rioja Red. For the 2021 model, Lexus at last updates the multimedia system with Android Auto.
The suspension upgrade is concerned with weight loss, electronic absorber controls adjustment, increase of rear stabilizer rigidity.
Active Cornering Assist is now available. The LC 500h’s automatic transmission gets improvements as well.
The new 2021 Lexus LC 500 and LC 500h cars should reach dealerships later this year. We do not expect a significant price increase in comparison with the current 2020 model.
The 2020 Lexus LC 500 starts at $92,950 in the USA. It comes with a 5.0-liter 471-hp V8 and a 10-speed automatic transmission. The car needs just 4.4 seconds to accelerate from zero to 60 mph.
The hybrid LC 500h costs from $80,010 (RWD) and $83,230 (AWD). The total system output is 354 hp (mechanical horsepower), the fuel efficiency is 33 mpg (7.13 l/100 km) on highway, 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) acceleration takes 5.1 sec.
The current German price starts at €101,400 for a hybrid model, in the UK from £78,190 (£78,810 for a hybrid).
