The new Genesis GV80 is expected on sale in the United States in summer 2020. After its debut in Korea, the 2021 model demonstrated itself again, this time in Miami.
Customer will receive the vehicle powered by a new 2.5-liter turbo-four as standard producing about 290 hp, combined with rear-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The all-wheel-drive cars will have a 3.5-liter twin-turbo 375-hp V6, also new for Genesis. Prices, not still announced, will be between $50,000-$65,000.
This makes the GV80 even cheaper than rivals, such as the Mercedes-Benz GLE priced at mid-$50,000-$80,000.
A complete suite of driver assistance features comes standard. AWD variants will have an electronic limited slip differential.
The model has one distinction: its side turn signals are not on the mirrors, but on the flanks, lighting up in the same manner as the front headlamps.
