From today, June 10, 2021, customers can place orders for the third-generation Ford F-150 Raptor.
The new F-150 Raptor is available in a single cabin configuration – as a 4-door SuperCrew model. So, its base price of $65,840 is higher than before – $10,690 more.
Despite expectations, no power boost happened, just rpm figures changed. The 2021 model continues to have the same 450 hp and 510 lb.-ft. of torque from a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine.
There are also pleasant changes: payload and towing capacities increased by 200 lbs to 1400 and 8200 lbs, respectively. Ford also upgraded the exhaust system and muffler to provide a much better sound.
For those who need extra power and strength, Ford is readying a more aggressive F-150 Raptor R version, a rival to the Ram 1500 TRX. It will arrive in 2022 with a supercharged Predator 5.2-liter eight-cylinder engine under the hood. Expect the powerplant to make more than 700 horsepower.
