Spy shots of the next Audi RS3 Sedan have become available for the first time.
Previously the 2021 Audi RS3 Sportback was caught by spy cameras. Now we can look at the new RS3 Sedan.
A camouflaged prototype is passing tests in Sweden, on snowy roads. We can notice large air intakes, Audi Sport-specific oval exhaust tips, red brake calipers, a subtle spoiler of the truck lid, prominent fenders, drilled rotors, tailllights similar to those on the RS3 Sportback, a massive diffuser.
Expect Audi’s 2.5-liter inline-5 turbocharged engine under the hood, that delivers around 420 PS (414 hp / 309 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque. The unit will be mated with a 7-speed automatic gearbox and Quattro all-wheel-drive.
According to some media, an RS3 Performance variant with at least 450 PS (444 hp) is in the pipeline as well.
Anyway, we have to wait until Audi launches a warm S3 and a regular A3 Sedan it planned for this year. The RS3 models, both Sportback and Sedan, will follow after. The latter, by the way, will be the only body style for the 2021 Audi RS3 in North America.
