The first RS SUV in America costs from $113,995 including destination charge.
This month, Audi has already announced U.S. prices for two other 2021 RS models – the RS6 Avant and the RS7 Sportback. The first starts at $109,995. the second – at $114,995. Now it’s time for the RS Q8.
Its price can be comparable with that of the current Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe ($113,000) or the BMW X6 M ($108,600). The Lamborghini Urus is much pricier (about $200,000). The Audi RS Q8 in Germany starts at €127,000, on-the-road price in the UK is £103,750.
The ‘heart’ of the new Audi RS Q8 is a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 developing 591 hp and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. The unit is combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive.
The hot SUV needs 3.7 seconds to accelerate from zero to 60 mph (97 km/h) and tops at 190 mph (305 km/h). The RS Q8 is electronically limited at 155 mph (250 km/h).
The standard equipment is rich. In particular, it includes matrix LED headlights, a rear differential, 22-inch alloy wheels, an all-digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster,a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.
