The updated Volvo XC90 crossover threw off its veil and will soon go on sale.
Volvo Cars timely introduces the updated XC90 to the market, given that BMW recently presented its all-new X5 crossover, Mercedes-Benz – the new GLE, not to mention the Porsche Cayenne.
The refreshed XC90 will go into production in May 2019, and in the summer it begins to arrive at Volvo dealerships in Europe and China. It will be on sale in the U.S. this fall.
The price is still unknown. In the USA the current Volvo XC90 costs from $47,700 and, for example, in Germany – from €60,650 (feel the difference).
The 2020 Volvo XC90 has got an improved brake system with kinetic energy recovery. A new electrified transmission is expected to reduce fuel consumption by 15%.
As for internal changes, there are two new seat configurations. Buyers will now be able to order a luxury four-seat Excellence version and a new six-seat one. Naturally, the former seven-seater remained on sale.
