A revived legend costs $56,180, but will be cheaper.
The first cars on sale are from the Launch Edition pilot batch. It is about 1,500 Supras priced at $56,180.
The true fans of sports cars, which are wealthy enough, can afford to overpay for an exclusive vehicle.
Customers have been able for a while to reserve and configure a car, but ‘live’ vehicles are coming to showrooms just now.
Regular Supras will arrive at dealerships afterwards. The base car will cost $50,920.
The Toyota Supra has the only 3.0-liter inline-6 turbocharged motor under the hood. It produces 335 hp (365 lb-ft / 495 Nm of torque) and works in pair with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The model under the revived Supra name, we remind, was officially unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2019.
