Subaru has announced US prices for the 2020 Subaru Impreza sedan and 5-door hatchback. Sales start this month. The base model costs from $19,595.
There are four trim levels for the 2020 car: Base, Premium, Sport and Limited. Subaru also offers three option packages, all include Power Moonroof, priced at $1,970, $2,470, $2,350.
The carmaker made several exterior updates. In particular, it concerns a grille and a front facia. A new Ocean Blue Pearl exterior color added, as well as new wheel designs for Sport and Limited trims.
Some function come standard now, including EyeSight Driver Assist on models with CVT, the SI-Drive powertrain performance management system on a Sport sedan.
All trims are available with Rear Seat Reminder and automatic power door locks with collision detection unlock function (new for 2020).
All new Subaru Impreza cars are available with a 2.0- liter 4-cylinder Boxer engine with direct fuel injection making 152-hp and 145 lb-ft of torque, a Lineartronic continuously variable transmission (CVT), Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.
From the Premium trim and above, the CVT features a 7-speed manual mode function. The Impreza’s fuel consumption is up to 36 mpg (highway). So, it is one of the most fuel-efficient AWD vehicles on sale in the USA.
