2020 Nissan Frontier Debuts With an All-New V6 Engine

Recently Nissan has unveiled the 2020 Frontier at a media reception. It marks the last model year of the current generation. The vehicle features an all-new powerful engine.

This 3.8-liter direct injection 310-hp V6 produces 49 hp more than the previous V6. The torque is 281 lb-ft. Together with a fully new nine-speed gearbox, the engine will be a key part for the next-gen pickup truck coming in 2021.

The 2020 Nissan Frontier is distinguished with the best-in-class horsepower, improved acceleration, fuel efficiency and emissions level.

The engine uses 93% new or redesigned parts. Nissan produces it at the facility in Decherd, Tennessee (USA), next to a 5.6-liter Endurance V8 of the Nissan Titan.

The Frontier has had a lasting impact on the compact and mid-size truck segments in North America. The 2020 model enters the market this spring.

We do not expect a significant increase in price compared with the 2019 Frontier that costs from $19,290 in the USA.
