The next-generation Land Rover Defender will have a significant innovation – an air suspension.
It would seem that almost everything is known about the all-new 2020 Defender SUV. However, an option has been recently discovered on one of the test prototypes. It’s about the air suspension.
It will be offered only for expensive versions, but its availability proves the Defender is not just a good all-terrain vehicle any more.
The maker scheduled the official launch for September this year at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Initially they will apparently present the vehicles with 2.0-liter gasoline or diesel engines. However, let’s not forget about the recently introduced 6-cylinder Ingenium engine.
Last week, JLR announced it would manufacture the new Defender at its new factory in Nitra, Slovakia, along with a large off-road Land Rover Discovery SUV.
