This month the 2020 Land Rover Defender prototype took part at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
It officially opened the event. The Duke of Richmond was behind the wheel.
A Land Rover Defender prototype was the first vehicle up the iconic Hillclimb. Another prototype was presented at the Jaguar Land Rover booth.
Every day the Defender participated in all the races of the festival.
The all-new Land Rover Defender is in the final stage of global engineering development. It continues to undergo the most difficult tests in preparation for mass production.
Recently the model returned from Kenya, where it was part of Tusk’s “ Year of the Lion” charity mission helping draw attention to declining population of lions in Africa.
The world premiere of the new Land Rover Defender is around the corner. The first to launch to market will be the Defender 110 version (on sale in October 2019), followed by the Defender 90 (March 2020).
In August next year, sales of the longest 130 model will start.
