The new Land Rover Defender is taking part in EON Productions movie “No time to die” from the series about 007 agent.
Daniel Craig is the starring actor.
Exclusive shots show how the Land Rover Defender behaves in extreme off-road conditions. Stunt coordinator Lee Morrison and stunt driver Jessica Hawkins tell how they create the chase scenes.
The Defenders for the film are the first vehicles produced at the new Jaguar Land Rover’s plant in Nitra, Slovakia on the basis of the Defender X.
Special effects coordinator Christopher Corbould joined Land Rover designers to create the Defender‘s spectacular look in Santorini Black color, with dark 20-inch wheels and professional off-road tires.
This is the first movie in which the most rugged and powerful Defender ever is used. The model is not alone: other Land Rovers, such as the Range Rover Sport SVR, the Series III and the Range Rover Classic also star in this 25th in a row film about James Bond.
Innovative off-road technologies, fording capabilities and a high ground clearance of 291 mm make the all-wheel-drive Land Rover Defender a perfect car for filming.
The UK and work premiere will take place on April 2, 2020 supported by Universal Pictures International.
In the USA, the film will be released on April 10 with the support of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc.
