2020 Honda CR-V Arrives in U.S. Dealerships

The updated 2020 Honda CR-V is arriving in U.S dealer showrooms available in four trim levels and a slightly pricier than before.

We’ve drawn reader’s attention to this model more than once, as it is the America’s best-seller over the past 22 years and really deserves to be mentioned. It reached 5-million sales mark.

The automotive public expects arrival of the hybrid CR-V – it should happen next year.

Meantime, the gasoline-powered model is going on sale with the standard Honda Sensing and a new 190-hp 1.5L turbo engine, refreshed front and rear facias, redesigned alloy wheels (new 19-inch one added), three new exterior colors – Radiant Red Metallic, Sonic Gray Pearl, and Aegean Blue Pearl.

Interior changes concern a more convenient center console and more flexible storage space, a heated steering wheel and wireless smartphone charging for a top-of-the-line model.

The 2020 Honda CR-V has a higher (+2 mpg) EPA fuel economy rating of 28-27 city/34-32 highway/30-29 combined mpg.


The manufacturer’s suggested retail price of the 2020 Honda CR-V starts at $25,050 (excl. destination charge). The previous model cost $24,450.

The prices per trim levels are as follows (including $1,095 destination charge):

  • CR-V LX (2WD) – $26,145
  • CR-V LX (AWD) – $27,645
  • CR-V EX (2WD) – $28,655
  • CR-V EX (AWD) – $30,155
  • CR-V EX-L (2WD) – $31,145
  • CR-V EX-L (AWD) – $32,645
  • CR-V Touring (2WD) – $34,345
  • CR-V Touring (AWD) – $35,845.
