Honda has updated its Civic hatchback for the 2020 model year.
A 6-speed manual gearbox becomes available for a range-topping Sport Touring version. From today, customers can buy the cars at US dealerships of the brand.
Minor exterior styling changes affect bumpers, a grille and headlights trim. The wheels are new-designed.
Now Honda offers several new trim options in the cabin, along with additional features to keep the quietness.
The list of standard equipment is extended for the popular Sport trim level and includes a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a proximity-key system.
Previously the Honda Civic Sport was the only one in the model lineup with a manual transmission. Now it is available for the higher Sport Touring. The EX configuration receives a power driver’s seat anew.
The prices for the 2020 Honda Civic are slightly higher than those of the predecessor.
The entry-level LX car costs $22,580. The Sport Touring with MT starts at $28,980. Other trims add in price by $100 to $500.
