The Dodge Journey has been updated for the 2020 model year. FCA optimized the Journey’s lineup by shrinking it in half.
Only the front-wheel-drive SE Value and the all-wheel-drive Crossroad trim levels remain. The SE and GT trims are discontinued.
It means there will be no 3.6-liter 283-hp Pentastar V6 engine. The 4-cylinder motor with displacement of 2.4 liters, output of 172 hp and 165 lb-ft of torque will power the 2020 Dodge Journey in combination with a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The wheel options are 17- or 19-inch steely ones. The Rear Park Assist function is now standard.
The exterior color choices are limited to 7. Two colors (Destroyer Grey and Verde Oliva) are off. Black and tan colors remain for the SE Value interior, while the Crossroad trim offers just black.
The Popular Entertainment Group option is available for both trims, but it includes different equipment packages.
The model is on sale for 11 year as a value proposition. The current 2019 SE Dodge Journey in the SE Value variant costs from $24,740. The same-level 2020 car should not be much pricier.
