Among other new products, Audi is presenting the second-gen RS7 Sportback at the IAA in Frankfurt 2019.
Next year it will enter the market priced somehow over $100,000.
The 2020 Audi RS7 Sportback received 21-inch wheels as standard and optional 22-inch ones. An adaptive air suspension comes with all versions.
RS-specific exterior features include oval exhaust tips, large air intakes, black trim elements, a rear spoiler.
There are 13 exterior color choices, including two exclusive ones, as well as styling packages (matte aluminum, black, carbon), plus RS-specific lighting.
Under the hood, you’ll find a twin-turbo 4,0-liter 591-hp (435 kW) 8-cylinder V-engine that delivers 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque and enables 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration in 3.6 seconds. It works with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The maximum speed is electronically limited to 155 mph (250 km/h) as standard, 174 mph (280 km/h) with the Dynamic package and 189 mph (304 km/h) with Dynamic Plus.
Audi’s Quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system distributes torque between the front and rear axles. The RS7 utilizes a 48-volt hybrid technology (cylinder-deactivation tech included).
In the cabin, there are sport seats in black Nappa, a leather sport steering wheel with RS-specific buttons.
Front seats with perforated Valcona leather and ventilation are also on offer. A 4-seat layout (2+2) is standardly provided, but a 3-place rear bench comes too to accomodate 5 occupants.
