2019 Ford F-150 Raptor Got A Special Off-road Cruise Control

Ford added a new function to its latest Ford F-150 Raptor – a kind of cruise control for driving in off-road conditions called Trail Control. Its cost will be announced later. The 2019 Raptor enters the market in 2018.

The new system controls brakes and a throttle at speeds up to 32 km/h and can be used in any 4×4 mode. On uneven terrain with obstacles Trail Control automatically directs torque to each wheel and then, while braking, helps to bring the vehicle down on the other side.

Trail Control is also a good assistant to pull the truck out of extreme sand.

The upcoming Ford Ranger, which enters the market in 2019, will also receive the Trail Control system.

The 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor goes on sale later this year. It’ll get the Ford’s 3.5-liter 6-cylinder EcoBoost motor which produces 450 hp, coupled with 10-speed automatics. The newcomer also features electronic-controlled Fox Shocks and Recaro carbon-fiber trim for interior.

The current 2018 F-150 Raptor costs from $50,675.

  1. Sounds awesome but if I had a truck this nice I’d be super hesitant about taking it off road. Which is sad because that’s what it’s built for lol. But who wants to risk getting something this pretty (and expensive) all banged up just for a bit of fun? I’d rather use an old rust bucket for stuff like that.
