At the Nürburgring one of the most anticipated new products of 2018 has been seen. A wagon bodystyled 2019 BMW 3-Series passed high-speed dynamic testing. Shots,of course, are spyware, but they are not inferior to official images.
The new generation of the most popular BMW model will be fully unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. The new 3-Series will be available for sale in early 2019.
Suspension settings in the next 3-Series are more complex than the current version’s. Modern technologies will help increase comfort and improve control when driving.
Despite the fact the BMW 3-Series will be all-new from a technical point of view, the body’s profile and proportions are very similar to the outgoing model. There are a little more changes, perhaps, at the rear, but they are insignificant.
In addition to the versions with internal combustion engines, two hybrid modifications are expected: 325e and 330e. The first is used on the MINI Countryman PHEV where a 3-cylinder 1.5-liter petrol engine is paired with an electric motor. In the more powerful 330e there is a 2.0-liter V4. Both models will get a wireless inductive charging.
The debut of an all-electric 3-Series is scheduled for 2020, which is marked as the BMW i4. The autonomy reserve will be within 435 miles (about 700 km), and this is a direct challenge to Tesla models, since BMW is also a premium class.
.Vehicles of the new 3-series will be a little longer and wider, and also 55 kg lighter than the predecessors. In the cabin you should expect the latest iDrive 7.0 information and entertainment system, as officially announced by BMW.
