Lexus has announced the sale of its 10-millionth car. This event is quite logical, as the Toyota’s premium brand is strengthening its market position.
The year of 2018 was not only successful for Lexus, but the best in its 30-year history. Sales amounted to almost 700,000 cars, and demand grew by 4.5% compared with 2017.
Today the brand develops and has attractive offer for customers. The Lexus UX compact crossover proves it. The model has been entering the markets worldwide and, in particular, is already on sale in the United States.
Lexus’s modern model range includes various SUVs, luxury sedans and, of course, the LC sports coupe.
Only in 2018, Lexus introduced the new generation ES (a production version of the above-mentioned UX), as well as an updated RC coupe in variations.
Speaking about Lexus, it is impossible not to say about its electrified models. The brand raised their sales to a new level. The automaker currently offers 11 modifications with hybrid powertrains.
Their total sales volume has come close to 1.5 million units. Demand for green Lexuses grows even faster than for conventional cars (by 20% last year).
