Volvo Sales Grew On All Continents: Volvo XC60 Is a Best-Seller
The demand for Volvo cars keeps on growing worldwide. Positive dynamics in 2018 continued in the first quarter of the current year. The Volvo XC60 crossover remains to be a best-seller of the brand.
Sales increased from January to March in all key markets where Volvo is represented. More than 161,000 vehicles were bought. In March alone, Volvo dealers sold 67,457 units, 7% more than in March of 2018.
SUVs have contributed in this growth much. The Volvo XC60 is the most popular model, the compact XC40 comes second followed by the flagship XC90. Newcomers also started well. More detailed info see below:

Obviously, demand for Volvo cars have grown in all markets. It is worth noting that for the entire 2018, Volvo global sales amounted to 642,253 vehicles – 12.4% more than a year before.
571,577 units were sold in 2017. This year Volvo has all chances to strengthen positive dynamics.
