Toyota Will Showcase Updated Prius Sedan In Late November
Toyota has announced the presentation of the refreshed Toyota Prius hybrid sedan. It’ll happen very soon, at the Auto Show in Los Angeles held this year from November 30 to December 10.
An available teaser hints at an all-wheel drive. Officially published by Toyota, it leaves more questions than answers.
In the picture, the car is racing along the snowy road. The photo is accompanied by the notion that promises the 2019 Toyota Prius “performs on roads whether snowy or clear.”
It’s still difficult to say for sure whether AWD will be or not on the new Prius. But the TGNA platform, the Prius and hybrid RAV4 are built on, technically allows to use four-wheel drive.
Toyota already has the E-Four AWD system developed, which eschews a driveshaft between two axles for a separate, independent engine driving the rear wheels.
We assume ground clearance will be enlarged, and the tires are adapted more for winter. So, let’s wait a bit for all the details about the next Toyota Prius. They become known in two weeks.
