Tesla Model 3 Has Got Cheaper Version

A cheaper Mid Range RWD version of the Tesla Model 3 has joined the car line-up. Its price is $33,200 with state subsidy or $45,000 without it.

The declared driving range according to the EPA cycle is 418 kilometers (260 miles). The car accelerates from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.6 seconds.

Simultaneously with the new version release a rear-wheel-drive Long Range version with a single motor and a battery providing 499-km range left the Tesla Model 3 Design Studio. It is priced at $49,000 and still can be ordered directly through company sales representatives for another week.

Elon Musk has tweeted that it’ll be possible to deliver the Model 3 Mid Range RWD in 6-10 weeks.

All-wheel-drive Model 3s of Long Range and Performance trim levels are available for ordering. Both can drive up to 499 km on a single charge and accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.5 and 3.3 seconds, respectively. The prices of AWD versions are $54,000 and $78,000.

As expected, the automaker wil start producing a base version of the Model 3 in the first half of next year. It is a long-anticipated car to cost from $35,000.
