New BMW X7 May Get Hot M Version
The flagship BMW X7 may get a hot M version, which, if ever arrives, will become the most powerful crossover of the Bavarian brand.
Its possible launch is under discussion, though not confirmed officially.
Designers of X-Tomi Design have presented their own vision of a potential BMW X7 M. The vehicle has huge air intakes and bright blue body color in the style of the latest M-models.
If the M version is given the ‘green light’, it will receive an updated petrol 4.4-liter turbocharged eight-cylinder engine. Its output on the current BMW X7 xDrive50i is 456 hp. This motor on the M modification will be more potent and produce 600 hp.
Even if the BMW X7 M does not appear, the BMW X8 coupe-crossover can be developed, and the M variant for it would be much more likely.
We’d like to remind, that the BMW X7 premium crossover is based on the BMW Concept X7 iPerformance. It is the largest SUV of the brand primarily targeted at the US car market. It goes on sale in March next year and will be a rival for the Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class and Range Rover.
