Ford Announced Mustang Hybrid On A New Video
We can glimpse the Ford Mustang Hybrid on a new promotional video with participation of Bryan Cranston known from Breaking Bad or Malcolm in the Middle.
Ford teased with the car in one of the scenes. The video itself is dedicated to high-tech future of the brand. At the same time, it seems to announce a hybrid version of the new-generation Ford Mustang.
Even if the brand will focus of SUVs and pickup trucks, the Mustang remains the Ford’s contant model.
A classic Mustang appeared for a few seconds, then a modern sports car and what is under its hood. The next scene already demonstrates a completely different vehicle – the grille is almost absent, the lower part of the front end is simpler than that of the series version. The horse on the emblem is complemented with backlight.
The eight-cylinder motor can be viewed under the hood, but it is unclear whether it is just for video or will really be mounted in the car.
The next generation model, which arrives in 2021, is expected to get the hybrid modification. The petrol-electric version will be available on the North American market. It is unknown if and when the hybrid Mustang enters the European market.
