Demand For Audi Fell In USA: Customers Wait For New Q3

In February 2019, Audi sales declined in the US car market. Consumers expect for the arrival of the new generation Audi Q3 crossover, – that may be the reason for this drop in sales.

In the last winter month of 2019 Audi dealers sold 13,560 cars in the USA. This result is 12% less than in February 2018.

In addition to a general weak interest of American buyers in European cars, one of the reasons for the fall in sales is the next-generation Audi Q3 upcoming entry into the country’s market.

The new model’s exterior differs much from the predecessor’s, it is better equipped and got new engines in combination with a mild-hybrid system.

Despite the general sales decline, new full-size models enjoy good demand in the United States.

Thus, sales of the new Audi A6 and Audi A7 grew by about 80% each, and the flagship Audi A8 sales almost doubled.

  • Yah sorry I’ll speak for myself here but Audi Fd up by not getting the new Q3 to the US market sooner. I am waiting for it. I’m sure there were some forces outside their control but either way. I’m waiting, and seems like a lot of other people are too. If the Q3 is introduced in July…I will wait for a 2020.
