Cadillac Offered a Sedan For Mass Buyers
Cadillac has unveiled its first-ever CT5 sedan with a social media campaign. As intended by the manufacturer, the model should provoke an autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR).
The all-new 2020 Cadillac CT5 designed for mass buyers has been presented. The vehicle is built on the brand’s Alpha platform unified for both rear- and all-wheel drive.
The motor range includes a base 2.0-liter turbocharged V4 and a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 with unique sound calibrations. Each engine works in combination with a standard 10-speed automatic transmission that offers almost imperceptible shifts.
The high tech driver-centric cockpit is used inside the CT5. The cabin is trimmed with upscale materials. The Bose Performance audio system is optinal. The Luxury and Sport versions will be available, providing variations in appearance and driving.
General Motors invested $211 million to its Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan, where they will produce the Cadillac sedan.
The new model will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show next month. When it arrives, the car will meet on the market such rivals as the Audi A6, BMW 5-Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
